Rich History

Cardiac Science's Burdick brand has a long history in Wisconsin and is well known for instruments that provide both performance and lasting dependability for physicians throughout the country. Burdick was founded in 1913 by entrepreneurs F.A. Anderson and F.F. Burdick in Milton, Wisconsin. In its early years, it developed the first infrared lamp for medical use and it was an early explorer and inventor of electrocardiography technology. With its customer-oriented designs, Burdick quickly became the preferred brand for accurate ECG recording and, now as a part of Cardiac Science Corporation, remains the preferred brand today.
